| Dear SEAL Member, |
|
| Before the week is over all of you will receive an email from
Evelyn Dotson (evelyn.dotson@dowcorning.com)
to register for the SEAL 2005 Fall Meeting. The 2005 Fall Meeting will be held
at Sea Island at the legendary Cloister Hotel. Sea Island and the Cloister are
rich in history and dripping with eloquence. To ensure that all attendees enjoy
the full ambience of the Cloister, SEAL has arranged a special agenda for this
meeting. The agenda is busy (sun up to sun down on Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday), but also adventurous and complimentary to the surrounding
environment. |
|
| If you’re able to join us, Coastal Construction Products is hosting
an open house at their new facility in Jacksonville, Florida, Saturday evening,
November 5th. Most of you are flying into the Jacksonville airport and driving
to the Cloister. CCP are hoping you’ll drop in for a little southern
hospitality to kick off an incredible week of SEAL activities. |
|
| For our opening event at the Cloister on Sunday evening, November
6th, SEAL will host a welcome reception starting at 6:00 p.m., featuring heavy
hors d’oeuvres for a mix-and-mingle dinner with full bar. |
|
| On Monday, breakfast and lunch are provided. Monday evening’s
dinner, November 7th, is open; however, SEAL has made arrangements for those
who wish to participate to eat at The Lodge. The Lodge will feature a
multi-course tasting of the South. This will be a gourmet experience to
introduce you to some of the finest cuisine the South has to offer and a night
you’ll not want to miss. The Lodge dinner is optional and is an extra charge to
be paid by each participant. The Cloister does have another dining facility on
the property that features grilled items. On Tuesday and Wednesday, breakfast,
lunch and dinner are provided for all SEAL attendees. We’ll also have open bars
for both of those evenings. |
|
| Funding to accomplish this agenda will come from SEAL, SEAL
manufacturer sponsorships and an additional $100 per night charge to each room.
The SEAL room rate per night at the Cloister is approximately $343 (including
all taxes and fees). With the additional $100 charge, the minimum charge per
room is $443 per night and includes all meals and cocktails with the exception
of dinner at The Lodge. This is a great package rate for a first class facility
in a spectacular environment. |
|
I hope to see all of you at the SEAL 2005 Fall Meeting. If you have
any questions, please let me know. Thanks and see you soon.
